The face of the Brunswick land has been marked in the last 450 million years by movements of the tinal plates, changing distributions of land and sea, different climates and the resulting weathering processes, removaland deposits.
The rocks found in the Geopark as a result of these processes cover a period of time from earth antiquity to the Earth’s modern age. Specimens from the different ages were collected from the entire area and arranged in chronological order in the geological show wall on Lake Dowesee.
Guided tours of the geological show wall can be booked through the Geopark.
