The UNESCO Global Geopark Harz . Braunschweiger Land . Ostfalen is one of 147 UNESCO Geoparks in 41 countries worldwide. UNESCO Geoparks are areas with geological sites and landscapes of international geoscientific importance. They invite visitors to follow in the footsteps of the past to better understand our planet and the conditions of life and to create regions worth living in.
