"Fossil" birthday

Do you know which animals and plants lived on our doorstep millions of years ago or how the shell got into the stone? We will answer these and many other questions at the "Fossils" birthday party. We will also explain how the landscape has constantly changed over the course of the earth's history. The presence of the various quarries in the region suggests what it might have been like here in the past. By means of various activities, we will try to show you something about evolution and develop an understanding of how long ago these times were. Equipped with tools such as hammers and chisels, we will take you on a search for fossilised witnesses from times long past and hope to find as many fossilised remains of animals and plants as possible. You can take all the trophies from our treasure hunt home with you. The "Fossil" birthday party can take place in the Hainholz and Evessen adventure quarries, in Hondelage or at the Schandelah Jurassic Sea geopoint.
