And that’s a good thing, because after all, it’s all about the whole thing: the future project Earth! So get involved! Show your ideas and participate in the Federal Environmental Competition! Every year, the BWU offers all young people the opportunity to get involved and to counteract environmental problems with their own ideas. The competition calls for the identification of causes of environmental problems, for solutions to be sought and for appropriate implementations to be put in place.
Who can participate? All young people between the ages of 10 and 20 who are interested in science and/or society can participate. This includes pupils from all general and vocational schools, youth groups and participants in voluntary services.
What topics are possible? The spectrum of possible project topics and project formats is wide and ranges from scientific studies, environmental developments, environmental education measures and campaigns to media projects. It is important that an environmental issue is at the heart of the project.
Registration is open until 15 March 2020 under www.bundesumweltwettbewerb.de.
